The Hartfield International Airport bears the title of “the world’s busiest passenger airport”.  It is used as a major connection hub for Flights to Atlanta and destinations across the globe.  Due to the growing need for international travel, as well as the economic and population growth of the southeastern portion of the United States, a ten-year, $5.4 billion development project has been authorized by the city of Atlanta to modernize and expand the Hartfield International Airport.  The program will assure the ability of this important travel destination to meet current and future traffic needs for Flights to Atlanta.
